Pool Questions
How much water should I have in the pool?
If the water level is 40-60% up the skimmer intake rectangle you are in a good spot.
How long should I run my pool pump per day?
It depends on the size of the pool and the gallons per minute are filtered. Your basic goal is to achieve one turnover per day, which means all of the water in the pool to receive filtration each day.
I heard Salt Pools are chlorine free, is that true?
No, it is not true. Salt pools make their own chlorine. However; sales reps have sold as a chlorine free alternative to boost sales.
Is it a great idea to only use tablets/pucks for sanitation in Florida?
If you only use Tri-chlor tablets, you most likely will end up with a pool with very high Cyanuric acid levels which is NOT ideal.
